Hi All
We have just added a wonderful product to our range called Primal Defense by Garden of Life. Here is a summary of where this company came from:
Garden of Life
Jordan Rubin’s Story
When Jordan was just 19, he was suffering from a list of debilitating conditions, including intestinal parasites, abdominal pain, chronic diarrhea, liver problems, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, prostate and bladder infections, irregular heartbeat, eye inflammation, and chronic depression.
Jordan was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Though he was not familiar with the disease, he soon learned that his future looked bleak. He was told that medications would keep him alive, but quickly discovered that their side effects were nearly as bad as the disease itself. Science knew of no cause or cure for Crohn’s at the time, and his prognosis was very poor.
After both conventional and alternative medicines failed him, and after 70 health professionals in seven countries put him through more than 500 different — and often bizarre — treatments, he was sent home in a wheelchair to die.
His world changed when his father contacted an eccentric nutritionist who said he believed Jordan was ill because he was not eating the diet of the Bible.
Now, ten years later, Jordan is fully recovered and devoting his life to help others live a long and abundant life.
He has written several books, including The Makers Diet and The Great Phtsician RX for Health and Wellness.

A friend from North Western Australia told me her Grandmother used to carry around a purse filled with mud from a sacred waterhole. She said her ancestors (the women) ate this mud often and felt it was important for fertility. How funny though. I mean my Grandmother was a little eccentric but Sam’s Gran takes the cake (mud cake that is - LOL!).

Wow! I don’t know if I could eat mud, but it goes to show how important it is to have good bacteria in your diet. My friends son (2 years old) like to smear the dirt from our garden over his face and mouth…I think it probably isn’t so bad!!

Every 24 hrs i make about one to two litres of kefir . This seems to give me plenty of good bacteria to keep my digestion really healthy

Yes, kefir is amazing stuff. Do you drink milk kefir or water/coconut kefir? Unfortunately I can’t consume dairy at the moment, even kefir.

I like the way you say “at the moment”. Often people think they’re dairy intolerant for life. Hang over from medical “if we can’t fix you you won’t heal” thinking. I’ve seen people heal their gut to the point that they can handle raw kefir and even sweet raw milk again.

Thanks Joanne. Yes there’s no way I’m accepting I will never drink that healing food again! I have an overgrowth 0of Strep at the moment and apparently milk feeds strep - hence the reason I must avoid it until that is under control.
